New! Finalist:
Best Of Florida Film Festival, 2005
In the tradition of James Lane's "Birder's Guides" here is one especially for photographers. It's a DVD and shows you how and when to go to 25 places in South and Central Florida where bird photography can't be beat. The price is $20.00 plus shipping and any applicable sales tax.

True
to its name, this Guide gives information that a photographer needs but
often a birder doesn't. If you care about things like:
Then you'll enjoy this Guide. At each venue you'll get a good idea of what sorts of birds are there and easy to photograph. In an hour and a half this DVD has video footage of over 150 species including all the Florida favorites like spoonbills, egrets, skimmers, scrub jays, gallinules, limpkins and burrowing owls. There are lots of migrant songbirds and lots of shorebirds. We even cover parrots. Unlike how-to-take-photos books, this DVD was shot by a videographer, so there is plenty of information on where to go for flight shots, both distant and close-up. After watching each chapter you will have an idea of what birds to expect to photograph at that place. Either watch the program straight through, or choose material using menus. Included are easy to read screens of printed information telling you hours of operation, peak season, specialty birds, phone numbers for the visitors' areas and detailed driving directions to each location. Here is a list of the spots visited:
