| ABOUT US Seiurus Video is a small organization dedicated to videography of birds and their habitats. We believe that the enjoyment of birds is enhanced by capturing their images on film, disc, or tape. We recognize that digital video can never produce the photographic detail of film or digital still, but that video gives an unprecedented ability to obtain close-up views. This and the fact that sound and motion are also a part of the experience, have earned video a place in the assemblage of nature imaging techniques. It is our goal to bring video images to light and to further the use of camcorders in the world of birding. Our chief
videographer began his career in biological research and came
to video in the mid-1980's. In addition to the publications of Seiurus
Video, his images have been used by the National Wildlife Federation, U.S.
Fish and Wildlife, and numerous commercial organizations. He is a
contributor to the Internet Bird Collection (Barcelona). We use the Canon
